Waukesha Bearings celebrates plant’s 50th anniversary

Waukesha Bearings is marking 50 years of producing in Antigo, Wisconsin, USA.

Founded in Waukesha, Wisconsin in 1946, Waukesha Bearings opened its Antigo manufacturing facility in May 1972, with a staff of three full-time staff. In 2019, the plant expanded to one hundred,000 sq ft of producing area and now employs a hundred and twenty folks. The manufacturing space was added to accommodate manufacturing for marine bearing techniques and other new projects awarded to the company.
“We are happy with our success and growth to turn out to be a supplier of precision bearings to some of the largest multi-national corporations from our small-town, Northern Wisconsin location,” stated Mark Greenlund, plant supervisor.
To rejoice the 50-year milestone, the corporate is planning an event at the facility for employees and extending its outreach to the community to teach them on the profession opportunities obtainable on the site. “We are on the lookout for folks throughout the Antigo community who wish to be part of the next 50 years of success at Waukesha Bearings,” stated Greenlund.
