Sulzer will supply 4 packaged pump units, which embrace a 9.7 MW motor, the 8-stage HPcp pump and all the auxiliary equipment required for the challenging offshore environment.
Due to be situated seventy seven km offshore from Espirito Santo, Brazil, the Whale Park FPSO will operate in 1,400 m deep waters, processing one hundred,000 barrels of oil and 5 million cubic metres of pure gas per day. First oil on deck is focused by 2024.
Sulzer has a long-standing relationship with the engineering procurement and building (EPC) company involved in the venture.
