The Norwegian company will also supply varied engine room pumps which would possibly be required for the principle engine and support engines, as properly as different general-purpose pumps as required for operating the wellboats.
The two wellboats are Aas Mekaniske Verksted newbuilds 213 and 214.
PG Flow Solutions just lately won contracts to provide pumps for newbuilds 208 – 212, that are all Sølvtrans wellboats.
“We are very happy to be part of this value chain, which is now working like a finely tuned machine,” stated Øyvind Berg, vp of gross sales and advertising at PG Flow Solutions.
“The wellboats have been designed with fish welfare in mind. Our seawater circulation pumps have been developed with an equivalent philosophy. The merging of our applied sciences subsequently is sensible operationally, financially and from an animal well being perspective.”
