KSB completes enlargement of GIW’s Grovetown facility

KSB has introduced the completion of its US$44 million multiphase expansion of the GIW facility in Grovetown, Georgia, USA.

The first two phases of the enlargement were approved in 2013 in response to growing market demand for bigger equipment. Since then, เครื่องมือที่ใช้วัดความดันเลือด has completed upgrades, added tens of hundreds of square ft to its foundry, increased furnace capability, completed building on a distribution centre, and gained approval for three further phases of enchancment.
With the completion of the project, KSB has quadrupled its capacity to mildew castings over 20,000 lbs (9000 kg), elevated its most pouring output by as much as sixty six,000 lbs (30,000 kg), reduced the number of required shot blast runs by 50%, added special cleaning stations for giant castings, implemented new technology and effectivity options, and doubled employee locker room facilities.
KSB went forward with the project’s completion, despite the Covid-19 pandemic and its economic fallout.

In 2020, the KSB Group launched KSB Mining, a new market-driven organization offering experience on centrifugal pumps to mining operations.
The expanded facilities in Grovetown serve as the headquarters of GIW Slurry Pumps.
GIW at present employs over 600 people at its Grovetown facility.
